We're finally home!

So yes, we're finally moved into our new home. We moved in on November 29th! I had everything (utility wise) set up for Saturday afternoon so that once we were all moved in, we would have all of our stuff: cable, power, gas, water etc. However, as usual nothing goes as planned. We "missed" the gas guy by about an hour. He so kindly left a note on the door telling us to call the main number to reschedule. I kid you not, I tried calling Southwest Gas for 2 days straight with no avail. Needless to say we had no drier, no hot water, no stove/oven, and no heat for 5 days!!! What an adventure that was.

But, today is Thursday December 4th, and we are much happier now that we can at least take a hot shower. Man, when you don't have it, you realize how much you've taken hot water for granted. I'm still peeved at the gas company, but will forgive them for "not being able to get a tech out to you until Wednesday". :/ Whatever! I'm in my house, I have heat, and am happy once again! :)

WE'RE MOVING!!!!!!! AND IT'S INTO A HOUSE!!!!!!

I know that you were probably thinking something else, but this is huge for us. We're going from a 1 bed/1 bath apt to a 3 bed/2 bath/2 car garage gated home!!! Be excited, be very excited! :D

1 yr anniversary!!!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US!!
That's right, we made it through our first married year, yay!! We didn't get to do a whole lot, because we're in the middle of trying to save money to get into a better place (which will be some time this month). We did however make time to go out for a little while. We really wanted to go see The Beatles shoe LOVE at the Mirager, but the tickets were just gonna be too expensive for us, so we improvised and bought tickets for the new Criss Angel show BELIEVE at the Luxor. It was good just to be able to take the time to go see a show in Vegas, (we live here but never go see any attractions), plus the price we paid for two tickets would be the price for us just to buy one for LOVE. So, we had dinner reservations before the show at T&T, a mexican place inside the Luxor and then we were off to the show. The food was amazing and definitley not over priced. We were really excited for the show, but were sadly disappointed. Maybe we were expecting too much or something different than what it turned out to be, but I wouldn't recommend spending the money for it. There was no magic, hardly illusion (it doesn't count as illusion when you're doing stuff behind a screen), and just really strange, the majority of the show was spent watching humans dressed up as rabbits dancing around the stage. We found ourselves numerous times turning to each other saying, "what??". Very weird, don't recommend it. Maybe we'll get to LOVE some time next year.

NKOTB....THEY'RE BAAACK!!

OMG!!! Ok, seriously now, the NKOTB show was so much better than I thought it was going to be. Of course, there were a few cheesy moves and stuff throughout the show, but it wouldn't have been NEW KIDS if they didn't do a few throw-back moves. There was lots of coreographed "80's" moves, but you couldn't help to love it. The pictures may not have come out to be the best ones ever taken, but you get the point. And yes, Matt had to go with me cause we bought two tickets thinking one of my friends was going but (of course) couldn't come up with the money in time, is it great having a hubby?? j/k

Life

So, who knew that growing up would be so hard?

My life is soooo hectic right now! Work, school, sleep, that's pretty much it. There's never enough hours in a day to get all the things done that I want to. It never fails that I always forget something at the grocery store.. I hate that!

I absolutely love the Dental Assistant program that I'm in. I'm so glad that I have finally found my calling. I should have done this years ago. I can't wait to leave my full time job, find something part time and finish school. Who knows, I might just get the assistant thing done and go back for hygiene. If I didn't have the fab hubby that I have to support me and make enough money so that I can quit working, I don't know what I'd do.

And to top it off, I really can't wait to have kids! (dont tell matt, well, i guess he does need to help a little with this) :D
