A New Year

Well, 2008 has come and gone, in a flash. Fortunately for us, we didn't have any news that was too much to handle, thank God. It's 2009 now and things are looking pretty good. I quit my job in December, so now I'm a house wife. Not for long though, I hope. It's hard staying home all day when you're used to going to work 40+ hours a week and then going to school 3 nights after work, you're day seems very empty.

Matt's still working, again, thank God. They've "deleted" alot of positions and the Golden Nugget, but fortunately for us, they haven't touched the engineering and mainenance departments. Although they have only booked the hotel to 40% capacity (not a good sign), he has still had steady work, something always needs to be fixed!
